Trying different Korean cleansers has honestly been one of the most fun parts of skincare for me. A cleanser can completely change how your skin feels afterward — either fresh and comfortable or dry and tight in the worst way possible.
After testing a few popular K-beauty cleansers, these are the ones that stood out to me the most and why I’d personally rate them the way I do.
Korean Cleanser Ratings!

1. Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Deep Cleansing Foam — 9/10

This cleanser quickly became one of my favorites because it makes my skin feel deeply clean without giving that stripped feeling afterward. The foam feels rich and soft, and a little product goes a long way, which I always appreciate. What I like most is how refreshing it feels after a long day, especially when my skin feels oily or congested. The reason it’s not a full 10/10 for me is because on extra dry skin days, I still need to follow up quickly with hydrating skincare.

2. Haruharu Wonder Soft Cleansing Gel — 9/10

This cleanser has such a comforting texture. Instead of a heavy foam, it has more of a soft gel consistency that feels lightweight and gentle on the skin. On days when my skin feels sensitive or irritated, this is usually the cleanser I want to use the most. I really enjoy how balanced it feels. It removes dirt and leftover makeup without making my skin feel tight afterward, which can be hard to find with gel cleansers sometimes. I gave it a 9/10 because it’s incredibly reliable for everyday use, especially for maintaining a healthy skin barrier.

3. Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Acne Clear Foam — 7.5/10

This cleanser definitely gives that super clean feeling, especially if your skin is feeling oily or breakout-prone. The formula feels stronger compared to the other two cleansers, and I noticed it worked best for me when my skin was having acne flare-ups. What kept this from becoming a top favorite for me is that it can feel a little drying if I use it too often. I rated it a 7.5/10 because while it does cleanse well, it can feel a little drying if I use it too frequently. On sensitive skin days, it sometimes feels slightly too strong for me personally.
Korean Cleanser Ratings!
Overall, these cleansers all have different strengths, which is why I enjoyed trying them. Some are better for calming and hydration, while others focus more on deep cleansing. It really depends on what your skin needs at the moment, and honestly, that’s what makes skincare so interesting to experiment with.
